My newest poem out!

Conceited Crusade

For Nine minutes you made sounds like the sea – restless, roaring,

cheers of sound.

For Six minutes I stared like a pure white owl, down at the rocks, eyes solemn and wise. Diamonds that shimmered, splayed out on the ground. I pictured the past, that led me to now,  with you down below, and me leaning here.

Falling for hours, three days and three nights. Time always stops…when you just count to Three.

I fell before you, jumped from my perch. Loosened my limbs at your quiet nod.

And you collected my pieces, breathed life in my soul.
