like a dog
with my tooth
stuck out
I may bark orders
and I might not shave
my legs
but scratch me just

girl for days

just leave me

belly up -

open the door

Tricia, this is a splendid poem! The picture of your ShihTzu, and your wonderful and touching descriptions of how the sweet thing comports itself in its daily life, had me smiling through tears. I can tell you both love, and are intimately aware of your pet. How fortunate you are. I just lost my ShihTzu Edgrrr last month. My heart is torn Beautiful and tender poem.
