Recurring nightmare ~
song as sad as the Hulk’s
we’re just ticking machines
moaning with moonquakes
eyes buried / beneath the bed
will we ever collide
in full-bodied
hot flesh?

A note about synchronicity and seeing the time 11:11. I believe I get intuitive or “angel messages” when I notice repeating numbers. I am a Christian and believe in the Bible, but I am also intrigued with metaphysical ideas. Synchronicity and frequency are two ideas I have researched and even written about in my novella, The Light in the Cave.
Thank you to Gabriela for featuring my work.

Spot on.
Thanks, Jane! ❤️🙏❤️
Oh wow! Many many congratulations, Tricia 😀 I especially resonate with; “we’re just ticking machines moaning with moonquakes.” 💝💝
So glad you enjoyed those lines, Sanaa!! ❤️🙏❤️
Packed with expectation overshadowed with dread, like a prophecy about to come true. Congrats for being picked up by Gabriela, you deserve it.

Congratulations, Tricia! Can’t wait to read your book as those topics are quite intriguing.
Thanks, Lisa! I managed to squeeze those topics in with vampires, robots and aliens, 😆
You’re welcome. As soon as I finish the book of poetry I’m reading right now (almost done) will start on your book.
Sounds great, thanks, Lisa! 💖
Congrats on the publication. Tricia, can you please send me an email at sometimesg@yahoo.com ? Thanks.
Thanks, Grace!! Sure! 💖
Wonderful, Tricia! Congratulations.
Those synchronicity things are wild, aren’t they? It happens to me all the time–but not with numbers because I don’t pay attention to numbers. 😀
Thanks, Merril! Yes, I think it’s our mindfulness that creates the opening for synchronistic messages, so it’s what we pay attention to most times! 💖
Perhaps so, Tricia.
But weird things like Jane and I both using the word “insouciance” today in poems. 😅
Wow! 😲I’ve got to get to reading here soon and analyze your poems and that buzz-worthy word! 😆
My word was in something I submitted, so not posted.
I see, it’s a great word and the muses must want it published very badly to pick you and Jane on the same day!
😊
Congratulations on having your voice shared. What I hear in this is a numbing that is hurting us all. I especially like your ending question.
Yes, I started the first part as a type of sleep (shared here) which is a type of numbing and the second part leads to awakening. Thanks for your comment! 💖
You are right, nothing takes the place of physical contact!
Thanks, Dwight! This was just the first part of my poem, the rest is at the link, (I just edited to explain that better) just a teaser here, thanks!! 💖
Oh, I missed that. I will go back and read it all.
I realized a few people did! 😆 It’s not a real long poem, just not that short! 💖
Congratulations!
Thanks, Ken! 🥰
