I’m traveling with my husband to Fort Riley, Kansas while he’s in Army training and also trying to entertain my son during his spring break, so have had little time for writing. But Misky’s Twiglet #271 with prompt “tangled threads” inspired this short write! Let’s all enjoy the dream of today!!
Unravel tangled threads
Let the sky collapse in waves
We’ll squish the stars between
our toes and sleep
and dream
and knot
once more.

Knotty Fine!
π If you say so!
Lovely.
Thanks, Misky, fun prompt! π
Glad it worked for you. β€οΈ

Thanks, Cindy! He’s just getting some training for his reserve unit, he will stay in the states and help with cyber security in both his day job (contractor with Marines) and reserve position. Praying we won’t end up with a bad cyber attack. Still praying for those in Ukraine as well! π
A beautiful and meditative poem, Tricia! π
Thanks, Ingrid! π
Knots can be a good thing keeping us sane? Keeping family close is always good.
Safe travels.
Thanks, Jules! I see knots here as our imagination at work creating events. So it is perspective and also choice about the kind of knots we create and ultimately try to reverse and untangle.π
