– The way it spills from the veins of gods
With liquid eyes
we stir black holes
The milky way
never saw us coming
the storm clouds stash
our sighs
in light
cracking / sounds ⚡
then drip
drip
drop 💧
the sky releases
our love
in fractals
dividing land
we’re all the same
we’re drops
we’re oceans
we light the void.

Written for dVerse Poetics where Lisa asks us to write something inspired by fractals!
Wonderful opening line, Tricia! It really sets a tone. “The sky releases / our love / in fractals.” says you know the source. Rumi’s view encompasses the infinite vastness of it. Really neat image you chose.
Thanks for the inspiration, Lisa!! Fractals and sacred geometry have always interested me. We are part of the divine patterns, it’s beautiful to think about! 💓
You’re most welcome, Tricia. I remember learning a little about sacred geometry a few years ago when I did an A-Z Challenge using symbols. There is so much to know. It does keep things interesting 🙂
Yes, I love diving into all things mystical, it’s just too much fun not to!
A lovely post, Tricia. Interesting line breaks. 👍🏻
Glad you liked them! I think I try to find some mysterious rhythm! 😆💓
Mission accomplished!
🥰
How beautiful this reads Tricia. Love the unifying message of your last 4 lines.
Thanks, Grace, we are all made of the same stardust! 💓💫
This is gorgeous Tricia. I really love the cadence and the words you used. Bravo! 💖💖

Very well done, Tricia! I like what you did with this prompt!
Thanks, Dwight, this prompt really got me thinking, glad you enjoyed! 💓
Your are welcome. It got me thinking as well. Took me a while to put it together.
My favorite line is “we’re drops, we’re oceans, we light the void.” Also, I appreciate the Rumi quote.
Yes, we are all fractals of the divine. It’s hard to describe the nature of God, but we all have a spark of that light!
Beautiful words that go well with line break format. Love the message 👌👌💐❤️
Glad the line breaks worked for you! Thanks, Kaushal! 💖
This is wonderful, Tricia! Just an amazing cascade of thought provoking lines!
Thanks so much, I love diving into spiritual poetry, lately! 💖
This is a fabulous take on the prompt, you’ve encompassed everything. Thanks for quoting Rumi. I enjoyed these lines,

in fractals”
