Drops of Light #dVerse #Poetics

– The way it spills from the veins of gods

With liquid eyes
we stir black holes

The milky way

          never saw us coming

the storm clouds stash
our sighs
                in light

cracking / sounds ⚡

then drip
               drip
                    drop 💧

the sky releases
our love
            in fractals

dividing land
we’re all the same

we’re drops

we’re oceans

                   we light the void.

  1. Wonderful opening line, Tricia! It really sets a tone. “The sky releases / our love / in fractals.” says you know the source. Rumi’s view encompasses the infinite vastness of it. Really neat image you chose.

    1. Thanks for the inspiration, Lisa!! Fractals and sacred geometry have always interested me. We are part of the divine patterns, it’s beautiful to think about! 💓

      1. You’re most welcome, Tricia. I remember learning a little about sacred geometry a few years ago when I did an A-Z Challenge using symbols. There is so much to know. It does keep things interesting 🙂

  2. This is a fabulous take on the prompt, you’ve encompassed everything. Thanks for quoting Rumi. I enjoyed these lines,
    “the sky releases
    our love
    in fractals”
