Very sad to learn of the passing of Glenn Buttkus a member of the dVerse poets pub. He had such an original voice and he never held anything back. Lillian hosts Open Link Night this afternoon, where we can share any poem prompt free. I am sharing a poem I published this morning on my YouTube channel that speaks of traveling through life and ends on a note that we all have a safe place waiting in the mists. Glenn is home. 💗
So few words…..such a beautiful message. Perfect in dedication to Glenn. Thank you so much for posting.
Thanks so much, Lillian! 🥰

Wow Tricia, this is absolutely divine. What a glorious way to celebrate life…I love how you refer to it is “traveling”. Thank you for sharing, dear friend. Beautifully done as always 🤍🤗
Glad you enjoyed, Grace, always appreciate your comments! 💮🙏💮

May Glenn be that free. May all our poetry water such places.

Thanks so much, Dwight! 💗🌷💗
You are welcome!
🥰
Thank you Tricia. Glenn was a special force unto himself — strong, raw yet refined, unfiltered, real, and wholly irreplaceable. I truly feel the chasm he has left. Certainly I, and I believe dVerse as well, will be less without his unique view of the world. Won’t be quite the same again. Glenn was a thinker, and poet with his own unique voice. And he was my fellow traveler for many years. I feel the ache.
So sorry, Rob, it’s such a gift to have a friendship like you had with Glenn for so long, and the grief must be allowed to flow from this loss now. 💗🙏💗
Nice sentiment, Tricia. Btw I finally got to read your poem in Gabriela’s “Hidden in Childhood.” I like picturing you as the funny one 🙂 Gary
Of course, I was the funny one! 😄 Thanks so much, Gary, I am proud to be published there! 🥰
So so peaceful and soothing. 🤍🌻
Thanks, Jay! 🥰
Beautifully said, Tricia! 💙

You’re welcome, Tricia!
I love the thought of that path and how somewhere there is somewhere to lie down and sleep.
yes, to sleep and awaken, I think both! 💗🙏💗
This is beyond beautiful Tricia! May Glenn rest in peace. Amen 💙💙
So happy you think so, Sanaa! 💗🙏💗
